From a young age, Michele's heart was in the kitchen, cooking side by side with her grandmother, Loretta. These times inspired her to pursue her career in Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. There she earned an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Service Management.
Michele Figliuolo owner of Food Is Good F.I.G. Food Styling has served on the line at various restaurants throughout New York City and Italy. Desired to remain creative, Michele pursued the TV industry by becoming a food stylist on ABC's Emmy-Award-Winning show The Chew and Food Network’s Chopped. More recently, she was the culinary lead food stylist at THP one of the world’s leading content and social media service providers for brand managers and marketers.
Currently, Michele works as a Chef, Culinary Producer and Food Stylist for Middleby Residential. Middleby Residential is a collection of premier international consumer brands dedicated to manufacturing and distributing many of the best known and loved kitchen appliances and interior furnishings in the world. Middleby Residential owns brands like Viking, La Cornue, Aga, U-line, Marvel, EVO and Lynx. Michele Food Styles and Culinary Produces for Family Meal a series of videos using leftover ingredients to create additional meals to last for the week ahead cooking on Viking appliances in the Middleby Residential's NYC showroom.
In addition, Michele freelance food styles and has consulted for some of the most established food brand and television companies in the industry including collaboration on The Food Network, The Kitchen, Grubhub, Yahoo, Master Chef Junior, Amazon, Jimmy Fallon, The View, and many others.
Due to recent events, Michele has started teaching private cooking classes virtually for people of all ages. The classes are designed to provide a hands-on application to achieve new skills, learn new recipes, create beautiful photo worthy dishes, while having fun and creating memories in the kitchen.
